Ready to create a custom piece?

I am currently accepting commissions for acrylic, oil, and water color paintings. I generally focus on painting nature scenes, so if you have a favorite hiking trail or special lake you love to visit, that’s right up my alley! However, feel free to send me other requests as well and, I will let you know if they’re feasible.

A bit about the process: When you are ready to begin, please reach out to me directly through my contact sheet or at karamarsonart@gmail.com and describe what you would like to have painted. Please include the following information:

• Requested size (see list below)

• Requested medium (what kind of paint you want)

• At least one reference photo (this is super helpful to me!)

• If you have a specific deadline when the painting is needed (e.g. birthday, holidays)

• Any additional notes you think are relevant (e.g. anything you specifically love about the picture that you want me to emphasize)

I will try to reply within 3 business days to let you know if I can accept the commission and/or if any clarifying information is needed. Once I have confirmed, it will typically take somewhere between 3-8 weeks to deliver the completed painting, depending on size and complexity.

For larger acrylic and oil paintings (12”x16” and above), I will share an update with you close to completion of the picture. You will then have the option to request one round of edits before I finalize it. I want you to love the final piece, and I’ll do everything I can to create something beautiful and personal for you!

Pricing: Prices depend on the complexity of the piece, but generally start at the following levels:

Watercolor & Gouache paintings:

• 5”×7” - $55

• 11”x15” - $180

Acrylic & Oil paintings:

• 6”x6” - $80

• 12”x16” - $300

If you are interested in a size not listed here, please feel free to reach out to discuss options and rates. A deposit of 50% is due upon scheduling a commission and final payment (plus shipping) is due upon completion. Local pick-up is available in the San Francisco Bay area.
